Barn at Lord Howe Valley Wedding

Cathleen and Michael always knew they wanted their wedding in the Adirondacks. Cathleen’s parents own a home at the northern point of Lake George with a stunning view and they could not think of more perfect place to hold their ceremony. An amazing reception followed at one of my favorites, The Barn at Lord Howe Valley. This day included stunning florals, waterfront vows, a boat ride and so many heartfelt words by their family & friends.

The wedding day was planned to perfection by the team at Wedding Planning Plus. The couple and wedding party all prepared for the day on site at the Barn at Lord Howe Valley. There we did a first look, bridal portraits and family formals before heading to Cathleen’s parents home for their ceremony. The weather was gorgeous and a crystal clear blue sky make Lake George sparkle.

After vows, we were swept away on a boat for a private tour of the bay. The couple took an antique car for their first ride as husband and wife. We received more than one wave through the streets of Ticonderoga as we made our way through town. What I enjoyed best was how in the moment Cathleen & Mike were all day long. I love when my couples really get to experience their wedding day and focus on what matters most, family, friends, and sharing the moment together.
